What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing that tends to the subtle or energetic body of our anatomy. Through this complementary therapy, it works to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Rooted in Japanese tradition, Reiki aligns with the belief that energy flows through all living things and that disruptions in this flow can lead to imbalances manifesting as physical ailments, emotional unease or illness. 

 

Tending to our subtle body helps re-balance these disruptions that have been held consciously or unconsciously within our system, both short-term and over the span of our lifetime.

Why Reiki?

Our body is a record keeper and,

"Our issues are stored in our tissues."

 

This gentle practice is designed to foster deep relaxation and enhance our bodies natural healing abilities. It helps regulate our nervous system, aiding in anxiety & stress reduction, pain management, emotional harmony, and more. 

 

Our sessions incorporate traditional Reiki techniques including light hand placements on or near the body, with the intention of activating the system's innate wisdom, restoring natural flow. I also incorporate the use of sound healing instruments on and off the body to enhance this balancing.

 

Reiki sessions are offered on their own, or also blended with massage therapy.

This is a beautiful, subtle, enriching practice that makes a powerful difference.
